Who We Are And What Is Our Mission?
In January, 1973 when Pastor David Abiodun Meduna, a student – Pastor in the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso founded what is known today as The Glad Tidings Baptist Church, he named the Church Evangelical Baptist Church, reflecting his dream of a Church with a vision and a mission of total commitment to the fulfillment of the Great Commission. The Church later changed name to Araromi Baptist Church. By the year 2002, the Church decided to adopt her new name – The Glad Tidings Baptist Church, Ogbomoso.
